Bundle Up Snowman Pendant Tutorial

Looking for a quick and easy jewelry project during the holidays? This super cute snowman pendant is perfect!

Materials:
Paperpunch or scissors
Scrapbook paper
Sticker image
Sticker words
Pendant tray
Pendant tray glass
E6000
Nail polish
Necklace chain
Crystal lacquer

Here we go!
1. First, we punch or cut out our shape from the scrapbook paper to match our pendant tray size. Then, we lay out what we want our pendant to look like. This gives the chance to play with the layout before anything is permanent.

2. Next, grab your blank pendant tray. We used clear nail polish on the inside of the tray just to be sure it does not interact with the scrapbook paper. Let dry.

3. Now, we wanted to add a little pizazz. So, we painted both sides of our paper with glitter nail polish. Let dry.

4. Next, we used Crystal Laquer on the bottom of the tray. A very thin layer will do.

5. We take the nail polish coated paper and set into the tray. Gently press down to be sure it is secure in the tray. Set aside and let dry.

6. Now, we get to decorate! We added the snowman sticker as well as the word stickers. After they were positioned, we used more nail polish to give a bit of a snow effect. Let dry.

7. Once dry, we took our glass and applied a very thin layer of E6000 to the outside rim of the tray. Then, we gently laid inside the tray. Let dry.

Now add the finished pendant to your necklace chain, and you are done!

Custom Photo Locket Necklace

Looking for a great custom gift for the holidays? Personalized Photo Lockets are always a winner! We can't think of anyone offhand that would not enjoy a gift that was personalized just for them! Soooo, we give you the Custom Photo Locket Necklace!

The mommy this was made for LOVES dragonflies! So, it worked out quite well!

We used the following materials:
Crystals
Crystal Clay
Paper Punch
Craft Scissors

Let's get started!
First, start with you blank bezel. Use your Crystal Clay and Crystal to decorate the sunken middle on the front of the locket. Let sit for 6 hours.

Next, punch out two photos you wish to use on the inside of the locket. Once you have those, take the first photo and apply an epoxy dome sticker over your image. This will be the image on the right hand side of the inner locket.
Once the epoxy dome is applied to the front of the image, apply the double sided adhesive sticker to the back.

Once it has been applied to the back of the image, place it carefully into the inside of the cameo setting. Use caution! The adhesive stickers are very strong and will be very challenging if you need to re-position the image.

Once you have the first image placed, move to picture number two. First, because our images were printed on paper, we used Crystal Lacquer to protect it, We applied one coat to both front and back. Set aside to dry.
Once dry:
Place an adhesive sticker on the back of the image like you did in previous image step..

Once the sticker is applied, you will place the image firmly into the left hand side of the cameo setting.

Now, the inside of the pendant is complete. Next step, add the jump ring. Once that is added, you can loop the necklace strand through the jump ring, and you are done!

We love the way these crystals change color in the different views....

Such a one of a kind and meaningful gift!

We hope you have fun making this!

Sugar Shimmer Bracelet

Has anyone seen the textured nail polishes out on the market? To be more specific, we are referring to Sally Hansens Sugar Shimmer nail polish, or a like kind. Well, we had picked some up because it just looked really neat!
The nail polish has tiny little grain like beads, super tiny. And, it has a glitter shimmer to it.

Sooooooo, of course we had to try it on jewelry!

We used our circle bezel bracelet and glass dome cabochons.

All we did was paint three of the glass domes on their flat side. We used multiple coats of the nail polish until we achieved our desired darkness of color.
In truth, we originally were planning to paint all five glass cabochons in this manner. But then the experimenting kicked in. For the last two, we left the flat side blank, and painted the dome.

If you look closely at the picture below, the circle on the left was painted on top of the dome. The circle on the right was painted on the flat side under the dome.

The thing we loved about the polish on this was the different effects it offered. Painting on the flat part showed more glitter and definition. But painting the dome side showed an awesome texture!

Give Your Kicks A Lift

We don't know about you, but sometimes we just want to add a new shine to our shoes, or maybe a little flair to our flops.
And what better way, than with some Crystal Clay!
And we LOVE the results!

We decided to experiment with some sandals.
Make sure any part you will be using the Crystal Clay on is nice and clean. This will ensure the clay will stick.
Here are the before pictures:

All you need to do is mix the clay according to the directions. Then, apply it to the surface you want to bling out. We only applied to metal surfaces to be sure it would adhere properly. Add your crystal chatons and let it set! We dusted ours with eye shadow to add some extra shimmer!

Here is our finished result!

And there you have it! A small change, but a big result! Hope you enjoyed!

You can find Crystal Clay in our shops:

What a Wine Glass!

Trying to think of what to get that wine lover? Or even make for yourself?
We have come up with a wine lovers solution!

Materials used:
Crystal Clay
Wine Glass
E6000 glue
Chaton Swarvoski Crystals
Flat Back Swarvoski Crystals
Jesse James Dress It Up Buttons
Wire Cutters

Making these glasses are easier than it may look!
Simply start with a blank wine glass. Grab your crystal clay parts A and B. Mix them together very well (according to package directions). You will have 60-90 minutes work time once mixed. Now, cover the base of your glass.

Next, cut the loop or shank off the back of your buttons (if the buttons contain them). We used wire cutters to do this. Then, place them into the clay in your desired location. Once placed, press them firmly into the clay so that they will hold once clay dries.

Now it's time for the crystal chatons. Place these in the clay in the same manner as the buttons. Once all are placed, you can use a soft cloth with a dab of baby oil to smooth finger prints from the clay.

The last step is to glue on the flat crystals. We added them to the stem as well as the cup area. Allow 12-24 hours for the Crystal Clay to cure.
Then enjoy!

*NOTE* hand wash only.

Flower Bezel Bracelet

Ice Resin and Bezel Paints are so great together, we took things to a new level!
In this tutorial, we use the two, but add some embellishments as well!

Materials used:
Pebeo Prisme Fantasy bezel paint
5 bezel photo bracelet
Ice Resin
Flower embellishments
Craft mixing stick

 Step 1:
Mix your bezel paint. We use a craft stick or popsicle stick. stir very well, and be sure you mix in the paint on the walls inside the container as well.

Step 2:
Using the craft stick, drop a few drops of the paint into each bezel. Don't overfill. You just need enough to cover the bottom of the tray.

Step 3:
Set aside on a flat surface and wait for the paint to set. We waited a few hours to be sure it fully developed. You can see the honeycomb shapes forming. You can wait up to 12 hours to be sure it dries if you prefer.

Foil and Ink Pendant

Looking for a new pendant idea? Or another way to use your alcohol inks? Well, this is a craft for you! Foil and alcohol ink pendants!

Materials needed:
Judikins Diamond Glaze
Glass cabochon
Blank necklace bezel
Necklace strand
Alcohol inks
E6000
Scissors
Paper towel

Step 1:
Drip alcohol inks onto aluminum foil. You will want to drip them next to, not on top of, each other since they will run and blend in to each other.

Step 2:
Take a paper towel, or even tissue, and very lightly blot the foil. You don't want to remove all the ink, just the liquid excess ink.
