What a Wine Glass!

Trying to think of what to get that wine lover? Or even make for yourself?

We have come up with a wine lovers solution!
 

Materials used:

Crystal Clay

Wine Glass

E6000 glue

Chaton Swarvoski Crystals

Flat Back Swarvoski Crystals

Jesse James Dress It Up Buttons

Wire Cutters

Making these glasses are easier than it may look! 

Simply start with a blank wine glass. Grab your crystal clay parts A and B. Mix them together very well (according to package directions). You will have 60-90 minutes work time once mixed. Now, cover the base of your glass. 

Next, cut the loop or shank off the back of your buttons (if the buttons contain them). We used wire cutters to do this. Then, place them into the clay in your desired location. Once placed, press them firmly into the clay so that they will hold once clay dries. 

Now it's time for the crystal chatons. Place these in the clay in the same manner as the buttons. Once all are placed, you can use a soft cloth with a dab of baby oil to smooth finger prints from the clay. 

The last step is to glue on the flat crystals. We added them to the stem as well as the cup area. Allow 12-24 hours for the Crystal Clay to cure. 

Then enjoy!

Christmas Stocking Buttons!

We LOVE our super cute and oh so fuzzy Christmas stocking buttons! Great to use in all kinds of ways! You can cut off the loop, paint the back with nail polish, then attach an earring bail and wire. Ta-da! Earrings!
Or, cut off the loop and add to a pendant tray. A word of caution, because they are covered in a felt like texture, they will soak up any ice resin or glaze if used in a pendant tray.

"Dog Lover" Keychain

Calling all dog lovers!

 

 

Here are the steps to make this "Dog Lover" keychain. So simple but so cute! Enjoy!

 

1. Punch a hole in your unlined bottlecap (we used our black bottlecap and a heavy duty punch).
2. Attatch 2 jump rings to the bottlecap, then to a swivel clip and key chain. We painted the inside of the bottle cap with agold glitter nailpolish. Let dry.
3. Cut off the loop from the back of the dog button and make as flat as possible. Glue dog and hearts in using E6000. Let dry.
4. Cut off loop from back of dog bone button in same manner as step 3. Glue to other side of bottlecap. Let dry.
5. Glue "I love dogs" flat button to a bail. Let dry.
6. Add "I love dogs" to key chain clip, and you are done!
